The SAP Innovation Center Network is a strategic development entity within SAP, combining software engineering excellence with thought leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. You will conduct and support the development of the Knowledge Workspace at the SAP Innovation Center. Being a strong member of a technology savvy team you will build new tools for the Knowledge Workspace. You will work closely together with designers as well as architects to ensure we offer the best possible user experience. We are looking for thesis students (f/m) who have an attitude for translating modern supply chain business requirements into highly scalable solutions. The candidate (f/m) will support SAP Supply Chain Planning development in the area of Supply and Response Planning or Transportation Management with a strong focus on design and architecture of high performing algorithms.

The planning procedures are characterized by high scalability concerning the volume to be planned (procedure efficiency), broad functionality and seamless integrations into the SCM applications. The solution will natively exploit SAP's state-of-the-art HANA application platform and HANA Enterprise Cloud.

Line of Business (LoB) Finance is responsible to fulfill SAP's simplification story by SAP S/4HANA in the cloud and on premise. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Market Introduction (MI) Unit is part of the SAP Portfolio Strategy & Pricing Management area of P&I and is SAP's central unit that collaborates with the very first customers for new SAP solutions before and immediately after they are released to the market.
This includes a strong alignment with regional + local SAP field stakeholders, partner eco-system, User Groups and individual customer interaction.
Getting the feedback from early customer implementation projects will create the transparency in Innovation Adoption by our customer community.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The working student will work together with the SAP Early Adopter Care Program Lead for IoT.
He/she will support in program management and related reporting activities of the SAP Early Adopter Care Services for Internet-of-Things (IoT).
The results and progresses of this service are reported monthly as SAP Board, Executive Management and further audiences.
Additional tasks of the working student will be day-to-day operations as well as in the area of customer feedbacks.

These are main tasks of the working student:

* Support IoT Early Adopter Program Lead in Program Management, Program Reporting, Customer Project Transparency, etc.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Business Model Innovation (BMI) team is a driver of strategic innovation at SAP. We orchestrate the design, incubation, and implementation of new business models and help SAP to pursue the right business models faster.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The BMI Team works on internal strategic projects hand-in-hand with the SAP intrapreneurs (in-house customers). You will be joining a diverse group of individuals managing various initiatives with a focus on innovation.
You will have the task to support the BMI Team in improving its operations and visibility with the help of tools and technologies as well as communicate the value we bring about to SAP (and beyond). You would be free to employ your creativity, knowledge and software development skills to enhance BMI's tools and transparency.
Specifically, that entails the update and maintenance of existing tools such as a project portfolio and several communication platforms. In addition, our internal initiatives would benefit from the implementation of technology and new ideas as a way of improvement. Your eagerness to learn would be utmost appreciated. You will be provided the opportunity to explore different applications of your skills and knowledge. Meanwhile you will be given the platform for discovering new angles of the business and providing assistance for internal projects.
