Purpose & objectives
SAP Digital seeks an intern majoring in entrepreneurship, business administration, marketing, communications, or computer science / related field to help support development of SAP Digital, it's business units, new products and help assist in everyday tasks. You will work in a team-oriented environment within SAP - specifically the Office of the Chief Digital Officer, coordinating events, special projects and helping with day-to-day tasks. We started 3 years ago as a startup within a big corporation, and as such have a culture to move fast, fix fast and work towards creating minimum viable products and projects every day.

This won't be your usual big corporate internship. You'll be based in Walldorf, but you will work with colleagues around the world. Preferred start date is June 2017, duration minimum 4 months with longer duration being preferred.

Expectations & tasks

* Run a self-directed project end-to-end, scope and topic within the domains of SAP Digital (topic to be selected jointly with the team)

* Support with planning and execution of corporate events, e.g. align with internal exhibitors and speakers, participant management, internal communications and onsite production

* Support in developing and executing enablement initiatives

* Create briefing documents & follow-ups on trends in technology, and internal projects based on self-researched information

* Support the Office of the Chief Digital Officer in day-to-day operations, e.g. update and moderate internal collaboration platforms

* Knowledge Management, e.g. make sure work is accessible in the collective memory of the team

* Generate new ideas for SAP Digital

Skills and competencies.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Digital Business Services deliver premium services for the top-customer segment worldwide. The EMEA Operations Control Team drive the business operation, reporting and controlling of SAP Premium Engagements in EMEA and MEE from the beginning to the end, covering the global complex Premium Engagements (MaxAttention, Safeguarding, ActiveEmbedded, Secure Support) and support various SAP-internal departments (TQMs, EAs, CoE colleagues, Backoffice, Legal, Controlling etc.) and local country organizations.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The students should exonerate the team by taking over some of the team's routine work as providing the staffing for time recording and releasing service orders. Further on the students should ensure the correctness of the Premium Engagement consumptions. When indicated a participation in small projects, testing and/or reporting topics is possible.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Development Landscape Management (DLM) department - as part of the P&I organization - is responsible for the complete life cycle management (planning, production and operations) of development landscapes for SAP Business Suite products like S/4 HANA. DLM drives and executes all required activities based on an end-to-end approach and facilitates all functions from development engagement to design, production, and service of those landscapes.
We are looking to fill the position of a SAP S/4HANA System Landscape Associate Consultant within the DLM Content Packaging & Framework Services team in Walldorf.
As a member of this team you will be responsible for system and landscape operation with focus to S/4HANA development landscapes. You will act as a contact for the Content Development teams having an end to end responsibility from the Plan, over Build until the Run phase for all system related services. You will be dealing with the latest SAP technologies, like S/4HANA and FIORI.
The Content Packaging & Framework Services team is located in Germany, India and China.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

This position is designed to perform as a highly skilled Associate Consultant in all phases of a system landscape lifecycle. Continuous learning, working with SAP's latest HANA technologies, turning first evaluated landscape requirements into scalable services acting as an interface between SAP's IT Infrastructure Providers and the internal customers - the Content Development teams.
You will be part of a global distributed team, working closely together with Content Development teams, Product Development, other Development Landscape Management teams, internal IT infrastructure providers.
In a nutshell:
- Act as single point of contact for the Content Development teams
- Be the go-to consultant for technical advice regarding S/4HANA development landscapes
- Collaborate with all required stakeholders to operate and optimize system landscape lifecycle
- Drive ongoing optimization, standardization, and scalability of our team's system landscape services and processes while working effectively together in international teams
- Review and optimize the performance of the service provisioning and related processes
- Act as supporting and driving contact for technical issues impacting operations
- Drive knowledge transfer and provide documentation to ensure scalability of our service provisioning across all locations and inside stakeholder base

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer science, natural science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Strong German and English language skills - verbal and written
- High customer & service orientation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and activities
- Ability to multi-task and work along tight schedules with pressure on time and performance
