PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The focus of the local HRBP is to enable managers to become self-sufficient with regards to employee relations matters. He/she translates key business challenges into HR demands and acts as a Change Agent rolling out key processes and in addition supporting managers in people related issues, e.g. by providing guidance and counseling on legal topics and policies that must be adhered to. The local HRBP will support employees in very sensitive or delicate situations. The local HRBP reports to a local HRBP team lead.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


* Represent HR towards all locally residing managers

* Provide 1:1 consulting on core HR processes to managers from all board areas in the country, e.g. Performance Management, Talent Management

* Contributes to global HR projects

The DMS / SLO HCM department focuses on migrations of SAP HCM systems from SAP ERP to SAP ERP in all areas of company restructuring (carve-out of systems, integration of systems, etc) as well as migration of SAP HCM data to HCM cloud solutions. We are a global team that actively drives and coordinates activities in the areas of Delivery and Business Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Portfolio Management.

DMS / SLO operates world-wide and engages with customers through Delivery teams which are located in each region. We also work closely with Global Delivery, Active Global Support, and Development to ensure successful projects for our customers.

The student supports the consultants of the delivery team in the areas of delivering and acquisition of customer projects. Major areas will be:

Your internship experience will consist of two consecutive internships, one at Tank & Rast and one at SAP.

Around the clock, 365 days a year, the autobahn services company Autobahn Tank & Rast and its tenants provide comprehensive services on German autobahns. For travellers on the German motorway network, the approximate 350 filling stations and approximate 390 service areas (including approximately 50 hotels) are a place to relax and recuperate. Autobahn Tank & Rast is the leading provider of services on German autobahns.

As part of SAP team, you will conduct research in various areas of solution design. Your focus will be on retail and related most recent mobile technologies to connect the point of sale with the internet customer. In parts working with the SAP team and the eam at Tank & Rast, you will be able to participate in this project holistically, while delivering research to support the development of a seamless user experience and its continuous enhancements. You will test, develop, maintain and continuously improve the user experience of the new advertising platform and the mobile app for retail in close collaboration with our cross-functional team.

Combining state of the art mobile-, cloud-, analytics- and in-memory technology is our approach to develop the next generation digital advertising platform in a new organisational and intrapreneurial unit, consisting of best-in-class experts in software-engineering, marketing, ux/ui, visual design, sales and operations.

We are looking for an intern or a bachelor/master thesis student who can support our initiative, being able to drive the topics:

* Identification, definition and description of a small use case

* Assessment of the solution design use case in regards to its impact on users and the efforts of implementation

* Validation of the solution design use case in regards to concept / architecture / technology
