The IT Platform/UI Technology (Senior) Consultant will work closely with Standard Development, Business, and IT colleagues considering SAP's internal platform technology roadmap and internal application platform architecture. The position requires solid knowledge, experience and background of web/mobile technologies, platform industry standards as well as solid UI coding and design skills. The IT Platform/UI Technology (Senior) Consultant will apply general technology and IT Services standards, evaluate new technologies and technology innovation and will develop new Sales applications within SAP's HANA Cloud Platform integrated with other SAP backend systems like CRM, ERP or BW. SAPs Cloud Business is the fastest growing Business Area at SAP.

Within the Cloud Lifecycle Management (CLM) area, the Service Provider Engineering team is providing the central management platform, related tool sets and automation content for efficient operation of SAP`s Cloud offerings such as HANA Enterprise Cloud and Software as a Service Applications like S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and others.

Software Development Skills

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Scale, Enablement and Transformation (SET) team drives innovation adoption at scale, in the cloud and everywhere. SET is responsible for the simplified implementation experience of the new digital core (SAP S/4 HANA) and end-to-end (E2E) solutions. This includes SAP Activate to help partners and customers start fast, and continuously adopt innovations.
We are looking for a Senior Information Developer or Knowledge Architect to coordinate the tasks and the backlog of our Information Development Team located in Walldorf, Palo Alto, Bangalore, and Shanghai. You will work closely together with our Package Build unit, our development teams, with central KM teams, and with product owners. You will coordinate the requirements, execution and delivery of package documentation, and user assistance for tools developed within SET.

Your job will be to coordinate the tasks of the SET Package Build Information Development Team for topic areas the team is responsible for, including documentation for SET-build tools for SAP S/4HANA implementation and SET package build, SAP S/4HANA content documentation and corresponding SAP Best Practices packages, and RDS package delivery.
Your tasks will include:

* Experienced in coordinating KM projects or leading KM teams

* Proven experience in technical writing

* Proven experience in documentation tools and documentation standards (ideally Ixiasoft DITA CMS) as well as MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint

* Ability to work under time pressure as KM needs to deliver to specific deadlines

Preferred skills

* Willingness to acquire extensive product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice

* Outstanding communication and writing skills

* The ability to ensure that help projects and package documentation are delivered in time and high quality

* Flexibility and a readiness to communicate with other team members in other time zones and to participate in knowledge transfer


WORK EXPERIENCE


* 6+ years work experience, preferably in information development (ideally as a Senior Information Developer or KM Architect)

* Flexibility in working time in order to ensure communication with all relevant time zones

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Scale, Enablement and Transformation (SET) team drives innovation adoption at scale, in the cloud and everywhere. SET is responsible for the simplified implementation experience of the new digital core (SAP S/4 HANA) and end-to-end (E2E) solutions. This includes SAP Activate to help partners and customers start fast, and continuously adopt innovations.
We are looking for a Senior Information Developer or Knowledge Architect to coordinate the tasks and the backlog of our Information Development Team located in Walldorf, Palo Alto, Bangalore, and Shanghai. You will work closely together with our Package Build unit, our development teams, with central KM teams, and with product owners. You will coordinate the requirements, execution and delivery of package documentation, and user assistance for tools developed within SET.
Our Lean Development Model, an agile development method, empowers teams and requires strong team and collaboration skills.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Your job will be to coordinate the tasks of the SET Package Build Information Development Team for topic areas the team is responsible for, including documentation for SET-build tools for SAP S/4HANA implementation and SET package build, SAP S/4HANA content documentation and corresponding SAP Best Practices packages, and RDS package delivery.
Your tasks will include:

* Coordination of the tasks and backlog of an information development team across 4 locations (Walldorf, Bangalore, Shanghai, Palo Alto)

* Monitoring SAP S/4HANA KM processes and align SET KM processes with the central S/4HANA KM team

* Coordinate documentation projects for SET tool developments for SAP S/4HANA and collect new help project demands

* Be the main contact for SET Package Build and SET tool development regarding KM aspects (tools, processes, delivery channels, dependencies between Package Build documentation and tool-related documentation)

* Involve KM into new tool developments and development of new processes

* Participate as a stakeholder for KM in strategy and management meetings

* Act as a central team contact for the new UA Content Platform and other evolving KM topics

* Plan documentation projects and assign resources
