As part of the Global Business Incubator Team you will be responsible for participating in the design and development of the high level business process and requirements analysis, architecting solutions utilizing appropriate technologies across various SAP components and application areas, creating solution definitions, functional specifications and design documents as required, overseeing development, support and training with all documentation, together with testing, production and go-live aspects according to the SAP development methodology.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Participate in the development of the next generation of SAP application management platforms for Clouds, code name Stratus
* Create the specification documents and participate in the design of the SAP application management solution projects
* Participate, as necessary, in coding, testing, documentation and maintenance support of the project
* Work closely with internal SAP associates, external partners and customer teams to ensure successful project completion
* Be a multiplier of your skills by actively mentoring other technical resources on our team

WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 2 years of SAP application architecture modeling for performance management
* 3+ years developing mission critical enterprise infrastructures platforms such as middleware, application servers, virtual machines and transaction processing systems

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Must have hands on experience building virtual machines, distributed systems, application servers or operating systems for mission critical infrastructures such as middleware, application servers, transaction processing systems or system management solution in high throughput environments
* Excellent knowledge of Java and internal SAP application architecture
* Advanced knowledge of and development skills in one or more of the above areas is strongly preferred
* PHD degree in computer science or other technical related discipline
* Fluent German and English oral and written
