PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As the management consultancy of SAP, SAP Business Transformation Consulting (BTC) supports customers in identifying value creation potential in the planning of strategic IT projects. The aim is to create flexible, cross-company processes, thereby significantly influencing enterprises growth, profitability, and strategic positioning against their competition. A major factor for doing so successfully is to identify and fulfill customers requirements, both from an IT perspective and in relation to the affected departments. SAP Business Transformation Consulting uses strategic analysis, plans, and implementation scenarios to add value to companies by:

* Developing and putting into practice groundbreaking strategies for business processes and IT
* Implementing best-practice business processes and innovative technology solutions
* Preparing investment decisions based on detailed business case examinations
* Enabling cost reductions (total cost of operation) and process efficiency (total value of ownership)

The EMEA regional team supports the market units in EMEA Emerging and EMEA Mature Markets with expertise, that is not sufficiently available locally in the market units, primarily industry expertise.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Profit and loss responsibility for a consulting unit
* Business development for Business Transformation Consulting in the discrete manufacturing industries for the respective market units
* Acquire and lead global consulting programs in cooperation with our clients management
* Further enlargement of our team in the international environment
* Support our international customers in cooperation with sales and solution consulting
* Global Practice Ownership for the Industrial Machinery & Component industry

WORK EXPERIENCE
* >9 years professional work experience in strategic management consulting or equivalent relevant business experience
* Industry experience in at least one of the industries: Industrial Machinery & Components, Automotive, High-Tech
* Sales experience, P&L responsibility experience, management skills

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Master degree or equivalent
* Perspectives on current IT trends and their impact on business strategies with specific focus on current and future SAP solutions
* Negotiation skills - communications/presentation skills (oral, written) - team player/interpersonal skills - proactive networking attributes - results and execution focus - high drive, self-starter/-motivated - leadership ability - entre-preneurship - global mobility
* Fluent in English and another European language
* Design and development of value driving business processes
* Analytical, conceptual and methodological skills
