PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The mission of Global Controlling is to drive predictable and optimal financial performance through financial excellence while enabling the transformation of SAP into a best-run business.

All development areas within SAP are supported by a strong controlling team. This team supports the business on operational controlling topics and business-driven projects that require controlling support. We also drive finance-led projects.

To further strengthen our support for the business, we want to enhance our team with a Controller (f/m) who is able to independently support one or more development areas and serve as business partner and trusted advisor for the management team. Furthermore, we are supporting business-driven projects from the Controlling side as well as finance-driven projects to further improve our Controlling processes.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Support global business units within Development
* Ensure compliance within the assigned business units
* Drive financial planning activities (budgeting and forecasting) for development units
* Define conceptual enhancements of our current controlling models and processes
* Prepare benchmarks and analysis to drive operational efficiency and optimize resource utilization
* Support the creation of business cases
* Support the management in decisions with financial impact
* Optimize business processes

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 3-5 years of experience in Controlling, ideally in an international company

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree or the equivalent, with a focus on finance and controlling
* Strong analytical skills combined with a sound knowledge of various controlling instruments and a solid foundation in cost accounting
* Focus on customer orientation
* High level of commitment, flexibility, and assertiveness
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiating skills
* Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
* Fluency in English and German
* Comfort with working in a team as well as independently and with initiative
* Knowledge of SAP® products (Finance, Controlling, SAP Business Warehouse)
* Experience in working on projects
