PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Application Server ABAP is the backbone of mission critical business applications for most big and many small corporations around the globe. It is used by more than 12 million people in 120 countries. While evolving the server to support new scenarios it is crucial to maintain its extreme robustness and scalability.

Our team develops the foundation of the Application Server ABAP. It is written in C/C++ and hosts the ABAP virtual machine, manages hardware resources, network communication, requests and user sessions. It provides infrastructure for load balancing, monitoring, lifecycle management and multi-tenancy.

We are looking for a new colleague to work with us in development projects for the next ABAP Server Platform.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Our team works in an agile way using Scrum. Integrated into our Scrum development team you will develop and enhance the central components of the Application Server ABAP.

* analyze the requirements
* plan the development
* design and implement the solution
* create tests and technical documentation
* work with consumers of new features

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Preferably 2 or more years of programming experience

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You have
* experience in software development projects
* strong analytical and problem solving skills
* good skills in C/C++ development
* fun working in small teams
* an open mindset
* a degree in computer science, mathematics, natural science, or engineering
* very good German and good English language skills
