PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Application Server ABAP is used by more than 12 million people in 120 countries around the globe.

Our development team develops the foundation of the ABAP kernel that manages hardware resources like CPU and memory, network communication, user sessions and load balancing. It provides infrastructure for communication, application server monitoring, lifecycle management and support for multi-tenancy.

We are looking for a new colleague to work with us for new development projects for the Next Generation ABAP Platform (NGAP).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Integrated into our SCRUM development team you will develop and enhance central components of the Application Server ABAP. You will:
* analyze the requirements
* plan the development
* design and implement the solution
* create tests, documentation and demos

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Preferably 2 or more years of programming experience

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You have:
* experience in software development projects
* strong analytical and problem solving skills
* good skills in C/C++ development
* fun working in small teams
* an open mindset
* a degree in computer science, mathematics, natural science, or engineering
* very good German and good English language skills
