PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Globalization Services (GS) acts as 'One Face to the Field Organization and SAP Customers' for all globalization topics: internationalization, localization and translation.

The department consists of more than 20 nationalities. Development Unit 1 (GDU 1) is located in Germany, India, Russia, Israel and Portugal. The department language is English.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
BusinessByDesign is planned to be offered in many new countries in the coming years, for example in Brazil and Mexico. To achieve this challenging country roadmap, we are looking for an development architect joining our localization development projects in the area of BusinessByDesign. Since we apply LEAN and Scrum in our product development, you will take over tasks in our globalization product teams and cooperate closely with our scrum teams to drive architecture definition and alignment across our developments.

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 4 or more years in SAP application development (ABAP/ABAP OO, UI, modeling and design)
* Experience in BusinessByDesign or Business Suite applications like SAP ERP Financials/Logistics, SAP CRM or SAP SRM
* Proven track of successful project/product performance regarding customer satisfaction, quality deliverables and in-time delivery
* Experience in localization very welcome, but not a must

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Degree in computer or natural science or economics
* Alternatively BA study or apprenticeship at SAP
* Excellent analytical and architectural skills
* Very good powers of comprehension and high quality commitment
* Willingness and ability to quickly acquire understanding in new areas, especially in technologies
* Fluent English (German optional)
* Constructive and open style of communication
* Experience in working in intercultural environments
* Willingness to travel (occasionally)
