PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Global Facility Organization takes care of SAP's Global Real Estate Portfolio and operational Facility Management. The different departments attends to tasks in the area of Real Estate such as contract negotiations and rental agreements as well as the realization of technical and constructional major projects relating to Facility Management. Global Facility Management is also responsible for operating the SAP Data Centers and Office Buildings.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The main goals of the Regional Head (f/m) are:
* Develop clear business plans for the facility needs in the region in alignment with the overall business plans of the region. Develop a strategy to achieve the plans effectively
* Develop and ensure implementation of functional best practices and processes across the region
* Build excellent relationships with all LOBs and Location heads, Business Partners and Executives and ensure alignment across regions
* Manage a team of managers
* Create innovative and productive workplaces that are aligned with business needs

The Key Success Factors:
* Ensure that space metrics are maintained through space design and allocations to LOB's.
* Create a Management Succession Plan for the region
* Maintain budget and forecast
* Compliance with SOX and SAP guidelines

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 10 years+ experience in international Facility Management or Real Estate Management at a large enterprise
* 5 years+ managerial experience
* 10 years+ Project Management Experience
* Experience in handling large operations

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Degree in Facility or Real Estate Management, Sciences, Technical Engineering, Business Admin. or else
* Fluent English
* Functional knowledge of various aspects of Facility and Project Management
* Technical knowledge with respect to Facility Management
* Ability to read Architectural Plans and Space Planning (test fits)
* Understanding of the Business needs - regional, local and corporate
* Understanding of legal and tax issues, Merger and Acquisitions Due Diligence
* Change Management and Project Management Skills (incl. Budgeting)
* Financial Analysis Skills
* Site Location Analysis Skills
* Negotiation Skills Lease/Contract/Vendor Local Economic Incentives with governments
* Ability to set best practices and guidelines for the region
* Ability to manage user needs and expectations
* Ability to build a team, relationships and trust
