PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The development organization Technology Platform and Innovation is a fast growing area with a market leading IT infrastructure product portfolio. You will be part of a team that creates documentation for software products in the area of user interface technologies. We have an open, communicative atmosphere in our team, where each team member must be able to work both independently and as part of one or multiple SCRUM development teams.
We guarantee thorough training for all relevant areas. In particular, your training will cover basics on our product portfolio, as well as the technical and documentation-related aspects relevant for your job.
You are replacing a colleague on maternity leave.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Work with the development team as well as with Solution Management colleagues to gather necessary input for all documentation deliverables
* Write clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation for consultants, administrators and users
* Write user interface and system documentation
* Write configuration and implementation documentation
* Day-to-day tasks include researching, writing documentation plans and outlines, interviewing subject matter experts, writing new content that adheres to in-house documentation standards and style guidelines, and organizing and conducting technical reviews of your content
* Excellent written and spoken German and English
* SAP product knowledge is an advantage

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Experience in technical writing / documentation environment, ideally some SAP product documentation experience
* Specific experience in describing developer tools would be an advantage

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* A good to excellent university degree in Technical Writing or a related subject, or, alternatively, a language-based university degree
* A high degree of technical literacy, allowing for rapid acquisition and comprehension of new technical concepts
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner
* Commitment to quality, user experience and customer success
* Experience with structured writing concepts
