PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) is SAP's largest region within the field organization. The region combines all customer facing activities like SW and Maintenance Sales, Consulting and Education services, under one umbrella.

EMEA Regional Controlling is directly supporting the regional leadership team in a broad variety of management and steering activities, including analysis of business performance of our 18 market units, country and market reviews, continuous management of our sales pipeline as well as the performance of our service business.

We act as business partner for our management as well as in a stuartship role, validating business cases and providing direct decision support on complex financial challenges. We have the regional ownership for the monthly forecast process as well as the annual budgeting and planning cycle, where we coordinate all activities between stakeholders, provide target setting support as well as planning analytics in closely reviewing the planning results of the EMEA market units. In quarterly financial reviews, we continuously monitor the exection against budget and business cases throughout the year.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Take responsibility for an area in a core steering process
* Support actual analysis and quarter-end reporting
* Participate in monthly forecast process for the region
* Be in close contact with EMEA Regional Management
* Participate annual budgeting process for the region
* Take part in cross-country projects to optimize and further develop processes & infrastructure

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (f/m) of a university or university of applied sciences (FH) of Economics (VWL), Business Administration (BWL) or Business & Engeneering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), ideally focused on finance/controlling with a pre-degree or a comparable duration of studies
* Good skills with MS-Office applications
* Proficient in English, both written and spoken
* Ability to work in a team
* First Project experience is an asset
