PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Global Purchasing Organization (GPO) combines all SAP procurement units. We significantly improve SAPs performance by leveraging our overall purchasing power and realizing
sustainable savings by executing globally streamlined commodity strategies.

The GPO commodity Marketing Purchasing is responsible for the procurement of Marketing related services (Direct Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public and Investor Relations, Market Research, Global Events).

Marketing Purchasing strives to implement best-in-class procurement processes, deliver first-class services to internal customers to source & select suppliers, mitigate risk for SAP and create transparency, and improve & manage supplier relations.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a student (f/m) you are fully integrated in the day-to-day business and you will contribute actively to current projects and support the Marketing Purchasing Team in its daily business with the following tasks/responsibilities:
* Handle shopping carts & contracts
* Communicate with vendors & internal customers locally and globally
* Support strategic purchasing projects & negotiations
* Support reporting & vendor monitoring
* Organize and prepare vendor meetings & presentations

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences in the field of Business Administration / Marketing or a related subject
* Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
* Ability to think analytically
* Good communication skills
* Strong quality and customer focus
* Comfortable to work self-dependent
* Ability to work in a team
