PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP, the world's leading provider of business solutions, is offering an internship position within the Corporate Publishing team of its Global Communications unit. SAP Global Communications is charged with driving perception of SAP as the world's leading business solution provider, recognized thought leader, responsible corporate citizen, as well as business partner, vendor, and investment of choice.

The Corporate Publishing team drives the company's publishing strategy by producing and offering the following publications: customer e-magazine SAP Spectrum, information portal SAP.info, Intranet channel SAP News, and employee magazine SAP World.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As part of our Corporate Publishing team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both print and online journalism. You will learn about both the editorial and technical aspects of running a set of publications targeted at a global audience.
Your tasks will comprise the following:
* Editorial support for our internal and external channels with a focus on SAP News (internal online publication)
* Research and interviews on SAP-related topics
* Writing, editing, and proofreading of articles
* Project support

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (f/m) of a university or university of applied sciences
* Enrollment in a journalism, communications, or writing field
* Good skills in MS Office software, knowledge of HTML and content management systems preferred, experience in photo processing and video editing a plus (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere)
* Excellent German with advanced competency in English or excellent English with advanced competency in German, additional language a plus
* Highly motivated and self-driven teamplayer, experience in international teams a plus
* Experience in journalism, communications, and/or public relations (e.g. previous internships at newspapers/magazines/broadcasters or agencies), good writing skills, storytelling and interview skills a plus
