PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Language Services (SLS) is responsible for the coordination and support of translation for all SAP software solutions in up to 35 languages. Within SLS the group Language Technology supports: * Approximately 300 SAP translation systems (SAP translation software)
* Third-party language technology tools (translation memory, machine translation, language checking)
* In-house and partner translators and coordinators who translate SAP Products in more than 30 languages

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We seek a highly motivated intern (f/m) to work in the SLS Language Technology System Support Team and carry out the following tasks: * Assist the System Support Team in processing written support requests
* Perform administrative functions in translation systems
* Create and update team documentation

WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous work experience is beneficial.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences
* Preferred field of study: technical, language, or translation-related subject
* Fluent written and spoken German and English
* Good knowledge of MS Office
* Professional style of writing
* Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
* Diligent and with an eye for detail
* Strong communication skills, capable of working as part of a team and independently
* Familiarity with SAP software is a bonus
