PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Language Services (SLS) is part of Globalization Services and is responsible for managing the translation of SAP products world-wide into over thirty languages, as well as providing technical support and expertise to translators and authors.
We are currently looking for an intern (f/m) or a working student (f/m) to assist with a variety of tasks in the central team for German and English coordination.
As an intern (f/m), we offer a six-month, full-time contract (40 hours per week).
As a working student (f/m), we offer a 12 month contract for up to 20 hours per week during the university term and up to 40 hours per week during the university break.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Your tasks will include: * Quality assurance measures for German translation of SAP Business ByDesign
* Processing of test/problem tickets
* Implementation of translation corrections
* Other activities as required
* Translation of IT and business-related texts
* Pre- and post-processing of translation projects, for example:
* Aligning texts using the SDL Trados translation memory software
* File conversion
* Terminology maintenance
* Administrative activities

WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous work experience in the area of translation (e.g. internship) is beneficial.

Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs/ programming languages.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences
* Preferred field of study: Translation studies with German and/or English or related subject (e.g. Business Studies)
* Native speaker of German with a good command of English
* Ability to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy
* Knowledge of Microsoft products
* Interest in business and IT
