PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAPs corporate strategy and growth objectives rely on a move towards an increased scale in sales by continued expansion of our go-to-market efforts from predominantly large upfront license deals with high GTM costs, adding an increasing number of smaller high-volume deals with low GTM costs. Customers increasingly want to interact with SAP through the Web and Tele (Inside Sales) at their own convenience. By shifting and extending sales tasks from the field to Inside Sales and Web Channels scale and efficiency will be positively impacted.

A cornerstone in establishing a best in class Inside Sales business is the continuous analysis, development and optimization of business plans and processes. The GFO Business Finance team is supporting the Inside Sales leadership team on this path to drive optimal financial results and planning.

To continue to strengthen the controlling support for this new business area the GFO Business Finance team is searching for a Junior Controller (f/m) to provide financial analysis and partnering to the global Inside Sales management team.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Act as a business partner by providing excellent financial reporting and business analysis
* Support planning and forecasting by sound modeling and business understanding
* Drive calculation of KPIs required for business insight along major sales dimensions, allowing for cross-country benchmarks
* Implementation and enforcement of global financial processes and standards
* Passion for financial awareness and accuracy
* Drive improvement and maintenance of financial infrastructure and dashboards
* Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis to support management decisions
* Participate in change processes and enhancements of controlling models
* Liaise with the regional and global community to support financial and cross functional initiatives

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Preferable two years experience in financial controlling and/or project controlling, ideally in an international software company

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University Degree and/or MBA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
* Knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis techniques
* Project management skills
* Strong problem structuring and conceptual skills
* Strong analytical skills and knowledge around database tools
* Ability to engage with colleagues and cultures in a global environment
* Ability to relate and communicate effectively with GFO executives
* Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
* Strong team player who can work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals, while driving results in a dynamic and virtual organization
* Ability to work in an international environment within a complex framework
* High level of energy, commitment, intelligence and integrity
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in complex projects
* Fluent English mandatory, German and/or French is an advantage
* Very good MS Excel knowledge
* Experience with SAP FI/CO and BW
