PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP GFO's Global Outsourcing and On Demand Go-To-Market Unit manages and evolves SAP's business with Outsourcing providers as well as SAP's go-to-market for Line-of-Business On Demand Solutions in close collaboration with the respective units in development and service as well as marketing and all customer-facing parts of the organisation.
The Unit has a track record of delivering success in business process and go-to-market innovation, and its team is well-regarded within SAP for overdelivering on expectations. It constitutes a strong learning ground for talented individuals.

The Strategy and Marketing Team of the Outsourcing and On Demand (O&OD) GTM unit is responsible to drive the evolution of the business approach including SAP's overall positioning as well as specific market communications (MarCom) strategy/planning and execution including MarCom support to all key stakeholders, with a focus on lead generation activities. Within this team we are looking for a temporary Marketing Manager Outsourcing reporting to the VP of O&OD GTM Strategy and Marketing to temporarily fill this position vacated due to parental leave.

Based on a sound understanding of SAP's marketing approach and organisation as well as of the characteristics of co-marketing with service provider-partners, the Marketing Manager Outsourcing will plan, develop and execute an integrated, demand-generation oriented marketing approach for SAP's Outsourcing and On Demand GTM-business.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Outsourcing MarCom planning (e.g., events, analysts, press, web, collaterals ...) and budgeting
* Facilitating generation of MarCom content/messaging in collaboration with Global Marketing and Global Communications
* Execution of outsourcing-related Field and Partner co-marketing, for focus countries and providers in collaboration with Field Marketing
* Supporting Outsourcing Sales enablement within the unit, and throughout SAP and the partner community
* Appropriately present SAP's Outsourcing activities via the various web-portals to external and internal audiences
* Contributing to BU-concepts to ensure consistency and leveragability for broader SAP internal or external communication; Examples for such materials include SAP positioning, SAP objectives, value propositions
* Monitoring of the impact and results from marketing investments

WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 5-6 years of professional experience with a market leader in the IT or IT services industry
* At least 2 years work experience with SAP in MarCom-related roles
* At least 5 years professional experience in marketing communications, preferably in IT and within a partner management context

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Extensive experience in marketing planning and execution (including all key tactics),
* Strong understanding of SAP's marketing approaches and strong network with SAP's marketing stakeholders
* Coordination of virtual teams and program management of large marketing programs
* Some understanding of the IT services business, outsourcing and BPO
* Able to program and execute multiple activities for maximum efficiency
* Excellent communications skills (oral, written)
* Proven execution and coordination capabilities
* Leading and participating in virtual teams
* Self-starter and independent, but team-oriented work style
* Fully fluent in English; fluency in German would be an advantage, but not a key requirement
* University degree in Business Administration or equiv.
