PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Active Global Support offers comprehensive services for every aspect of customers software implementation and operations, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem resolution, and knowledge transfer. End-to-end solution operations is the key to customers success for efficiency, business process availability, transparency, and reduced total cost of operations. The Run SAP methodology ensures a standardized and proven implementation method for end-to-end solution operations.
Run SAP focuses on application management, business process operations and administration of the SAP NetWeaver technology platform. The methodology describes how support scenarios should be implemented across the life cycle design, setup, operations, and optimization. And with its best practices for solution operations it describes how to implement end-to-end solution operations for different SAP business scenarios.
The Run SAP Implementation Partner program is designed for SAPs Services Partners to implement the Run SAP methodology utilizing Solution Manager as the core toolset. Implementing the SAP Standards for Solution Operations can be done step by step.
The Run SAP Operation Partner program is designed for SAP Outsourcing providers to adopt Run SAP methodology into their own IT operations standards. In a second step work on an integrated support model with the Partner Delivery Organization and the Active Global Support Organization.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The Partner Manager (PM) will roll out the Run SAP Partner Program to SAP Service Partners and SAP Outsourcing providers and establish new partner engagements and expand existing partner relationships to generate pipeline and resulting service and support revenue as well as to drive strategic initiatives and deliver them to the field and Global Ecosystem.

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Requires 5+ years of partner relationship and alliance experience in the information technology industry
* Solid understanding of SAP software products, specifically the SAP
* Solution Manager and related technology- based SAP features and functions
* Profound understanding of the implementation and operation of SAP
* NetWeaver and SAP solutions.
* Business acumen including revenue and profitability analysis, business case development and understanding of market drivers
* Operate effectively in a complex matrix environment with virtual teams of high-level professionals
* A consensus-builder capable of utilizing his/her strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and management
* A leader with sound diplomatic and negotiation skills, flexible

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Experience in Partner Management / Customer Management
* Good insight into the AMS Partner and Consulting Partner business model
* Comprehensive understanding of AGS and Solution Support
* Good insight in AGS Services (E2E services, Service Offerings onsite and remote)
* Strong experience in Solution Manager as platform for E2E services
* Contract Negotiation Skills
* Very good communication, presentation, and problem solving skills
* Fluent English and German, verbally and in written
* A degree in e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Industrial
* Engineering or related disciplines is preferred but not required
