PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As the management consultancy of SAP Consulting, Business Transformation Services enhances SAP's consulting offering with primarily business-oriented strategy, process, and organizational consulting. The aim is to create flexible, cross-company processes, thereby significantly influencing enterprises' growth, profitability, and strategic positioning against their competition. SAP Business Transformation Services uses strategic analysis, designs and implementation scenarios to add value to companies by:
* Developing and putting into practice groundbreaking strategies for business processes and IT
* Implementing best-practice business processes and innovative technology solutions
* Preparing investment decisions based on detailed business case examinations
* Enabling cost reductions (total cost of operation) and process efficiency (total value of ownership)

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The areas specified above offer a broad range of tasks related to the execution and management of IT strategy projects. SAP Business Transformation Consulting has developed
its own methodology for these tasks:
* Analyzing the current business and IT strategy
* Developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the business strategy
* Program management in SAP projects
* Performing total cost of ownership and total value of ownership analyses
* Analyzing business processes and evaluating potential for harmonization and standardization
* Managing heterogeneous teams

WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least eight years' consulting experience specializing in process industries; alternatively, the same amount of experience in a chemicals or pharmaceuticals company working in an SAP-related area
* Extensive project management experience

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree; proven expertise in the process industry (knowledge of logistics, marketing, sales, production or controlling would be particularly helpful)
* Good knowledge of the current trends in the industry; SAP expertise
* Good written and spoken German and English
* Management experience and strong managerial skills in changing teams, preferably in international projects, regarding, for example:
- Development and realization of implementation strategies
- Calculation and analysis of the total cost of ownership
- Establishment and optimization of IT organizations
- Strategy definition and/or the reorganization of companies
- Business Process reengineering / optimization; Business Intelligence/ Reporting Strategy
