PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The mission of SAP Production - the P in QGP (Quality Governance and Production) - is to perform assembly and validation for all SAP Products to ensure quality according to SAP Standards and delivery to our customers on time. To achieve this, we deliver reliable and efficient production services and validate the products from customer perspective as an integral part of the SAP software life-cycle (PIL). The Production Unit s vision is to be recognized as a trusted advisor for quality from customer perspective with independent reality checks.

The aim is to provide transparency on the product quality and to give valuable input for the release recommendation. The Production Unit is responsible for the Solution Validation of all SAP products with increasing focus on customer validation. In addition, a major task is to run the transition of production using LEAN methodology.

Close and early collaboration with development guarantees a successful validation projects but Production Unit always acts as independent advisor. Moreover, it is contributing to the Production project matrix organization, together with Production Services, QGP India, the Production Office and the Production Program Directors.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a Production / Validation Project Lead (f/m) with general interest in quality processes:
* Coordination of relevant assembly and validation sub-projects for development programs
* Coordinates Customer Validation Projects
* Responsible for Validation Report in the Q-Gate P2R
* Production advisor and supporter for the assigned development programs
* In-time and high-quality delivery of Assembly & Validation services
* Information on critical and important issues for all involved groups
* Strong interest in the continuous improvement of validation and poduction processes

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 3+ years work experience at SAP

TRAVEL
Occasionally

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Strong project management skills; Quality management skills
* Experience in Business Objects Applications highly recommended
* High interest in interaction with our customers
* Good communication, networking and presentation skills
* Ability to act across departments in a project set-up
* Knowledge of at product / process standard beneficial
