PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Global IT Account Management, Strategic Programs & Business Consulting (ASC) unit is responsible for the interface between Global IT and SAP's Lines of Business (Lobs) in addition to providing Business Consulting and Program Management services. ASC's key responsibilities include:

* Execute strategic Consulting and Program / Project Management services
* Analyzing and structure complex business tasks and proposing strategic directions (best practice)
* Deliver Program Management to strategic Programs in COO area and IT
* Orchestrate Program office functions in strategic programs
* Analyzing and designing business processes including Discovery of strategic improvement potential and perform value assessments
* Monitor value realization based on business process design
* Monitoring and coaching practitioners for Program / Project Management and Business Process Management
* Ensuring compliance with SAP Governance and conventions

The Business Consulting and Strategic Programs unit works closely with other units from SAP Global IT, SAP COO and SAP's Lines of Business, e.g. their process owners. It is located within Global IT to run and consult strategic programs as defined by SAP COO Portfolio.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Main responsibilities include the following:
* Overall program / project lead for strategic initiatives
* Program office lead
* Dedicated program tasks like Business Process Integration
* Act as Go to person within SAP IT Business Consulting and Strategic Programs unit for strategic Business process Management (BPM) tasks.
* Drive best practices of Program Management and Business process Management (BPM ) within SAP
* Continuously compare SAP best practices to Market standard and make use of outside-in improvement approaches
* Professionally consult Lines of Business in strategic projects
* Lead and manage strategic business process projects and their integration / handover to application based processes
* Play an active role in marketing Program standards and process-thinking
* Interact with Governance teams within SAP
* Represent SAP IT in communication with Senior Management of Line of business

WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 8 years professional work experience in strategic Consulting and/or Project / Program Management
* Experience in professional services

* Experience in business process and value management

* Strong presentation skills and the ability to design and prepare high-impact presentations
* Act strong and secure with senior management executives
* Fluent in English and/or German
