PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Consulting Division Process, Consumer Industries and Trade focuses on process-oriented consulting and solution competences with industry specific knowhow. As IT service provider in the area of IT strategy consulting, solution management as well as custom development and maintenance of complex it systems we concentrate on consequently improving the processes of our customers. Close collaboration between our teams is a key to achieve ideal results. SAP Consulting delivers ambitious and successful project and programs to key customers in the industries chemicals/pharmaceuticals, consumer products and trade. In addition we are the forerunners in successfully implementing new products and solutions.
As a Program Manager (f/m) you are the key role between the customer and all involved SAP units, building up a trustful and long lasting relationship with the customer and ensuring a successful delivery of projects and programs. You manage multiple related projects directed towards a strategic business objective containing complex activities that span functions, organizations and cultures. As member of the SAP management team you actively drive project management excellence and strategic initiatives to ensure future business.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* close collaboration with consulting area management and sales and project office with the objective to successfully win and deliver projects and programs
* manage complex programs and projects ensuring defined KPI's like cost, time, scope and quality during the whole lifecycle
* drive PM excellence by acting as role model for project managers, coaching of project managers, active contribution to knowledge management
* proactive stakeholder management with the customer as well as SAP and strong motivation to become a trusted advisor
* work with customers as a key and influential member of their business planning teams to ensure a continuing delivery of outcomes
* maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives and make recommendations to modify the program to improve effectiveness
* active member of the management team of one specific consulting area within PCI&T to jointly derive operational guidelines according to strategic initiatives
* manage de-escalation considering technological, economical and political aspects
* ensure implementation and consequent use of agreed delivery methods and tools based on best-practices
* adhere to quality guidelines and improve quality in project and program management

WORK EXPERIENCE
* minimum of 7 years of work experience
* thereof 5 years of work experience in the role of project / program manager for IT projects
* project management experience in the role of prime contractor
* sales experience is advantageous
