PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The PMO Quality and Risk team is part of the Global Service Delivery Operations organization.

The PMO Quality and Risk team is responsible for focusing on improving the Quality of SAP implementation projects (whether they are Partner or SAP lead projects). The team does this driving continuous improvement to SAP project management guiding policies, practices, standards, methodology and tools. The team works closely with Regional and Global consulting delivery teams to achieve this.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Serve as an advisor to the regional counterparts in their mission to create and manage the plan to increase implementation project management quality in the region in general; support the regions in the rollout of quality related deliverables.
* Support and improve quality screening processes, coordinate and support subsequent proactive de-escalation procedures throughout the project life-cycle i.e. from 'Opportunity Management' to 'Run SAP'
* Act as liaison for the global organisation to drive quality initiatives in the appropriate communities including other stakeholders like GRC, AGS, CD, GD, CCO, GEPG
* Coordinate and conduct project management Maturity Assessments and collaborate in the definition of the local organization's improvement recommendations and implementation approach to ensure alignment to the Global PMO quality strategy
* Identify and propose the maintain and/or develop of Field Services specific tools and methodologies to support the business as well as developing curricula and trainings for the project and program manager education, cooperate closely with the GPMO - Methods and Tools team

TRAVEL
Some travel to regional delivery centers may be required

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Experience with rollout of project management and process improvement including implementation of standards and / or methodologies
* Knowledge of and competency in SAP implementation project management processes including planning tasks, resource allocation, risk management, time management, financial management, HR management, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documenting and record keeping
* Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects on time and within budget to quality criteria, preferably within the SAP ecosystem. Ability to influence executive-level management and bring issues to resolutions; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, peers and team members.
* Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
* Ability to work in an distributed team, working self sufficiently
* Being familiar with SAP's methodology and tools framework like ASAP, Solution Manager, Solution Composer, etc.
