PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Implementing best-in-class operations procedures to manage business processes in a constantly more complex IT system environment is the key challenge for SAP and its Customers.

The mission of the Field Services Hub Operations Optimization is to maximize the customer success in the RUN phase of SAP software lifecycle by helping to manage complexity, mitigating risk and lowering total cost of operation releasing investment for innovation.

The Field Services Hub Operations Optimization delivers the best-in-class expertise how to operate SAP solutions in the RUN phase. Based on the Run SAP methodology and best practices from delivering Application Management Services to customers we offer a complete set of services for set up, optimization and execution of end-to-end solution operations in Plan, Build and Run phases.

Within SAP Consulting we advise our national and international customers in strategy definition, conceptual planning and the realization of their business and technological requirements around day to day operation of SAP landscapes as well as taking care of day to day operations tasks on behalf of customers IT department. The service portfolio ranges from one-day expert engagement to long-term customer projects.

In order to assure professional service delivery and quality towards our customers we are looking for a SAP Operations Optimization Consultant (f/m) to complete our EMEA Consulting Team.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
SAP Operations Optimization Consulting * Advise customers in strategy definition, conceptual planning and the realization of their business and technological requirements around day to day operation of SAP landscapes (Focus on Operations Process and Governance)
* Transfer of expertise, Optimization and further development of customer-specific IT Service Management processes and respective IT tools (e.g. SAP Solution Manager)
* Further development of long-term customer relation in cooperation with Project-/Program Managers and Presales
* Creation of business cases and service descriptions
* Planning and realization of courses and workshops as Trainer
* Position and set up Operations Optimization projects towards customers and SAP sales representatives
* Planning and execution of presales support
* Guarantee customer satisfaction
* Close collaboration with various teams in project delivery

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* ITIL / IT Service Management Certification
* Experience in IT Service Management Process Consulting (experience as SAP Business Consultant, Focus on Operations Process and Governance)
* Experience with international customers (3 year experience in international consulting projects)
* Sensitivity in negotiating with national and international customers, prospective customers, partners, as well as contact persons in SAP subsidiaries
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German as additional language would be an advantage)
* Customer focus, ability to handle conflicts

* Distinct ability to think analytically and make entrepreneurial decisions

Optional and Beneficial
* Knowledge of Run SAP / E2E Methodology & Standards (Run SAP Certification)
* SAP Application and Technology skill set (Certification and 3 year experience as SAP Application Consultant and or SAP Support Consultant)
* Project Management (Certification as Project/Program Manager for external Customer Projects)
* Knowledge of Solution Manager Functionality (Certification and 3 year experience as SAP Solution Manager Consultant)
* Experience in sales or roll-out process for new product beneficial (experience in Business Development or Portfolio Management for Consulting Solutions)
