PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The mission of Global Controlling is to drive predictable, optimal Financial Performance through Financial Excellence whilst enabling the Transformation of SAP into a best-run business.

The department Business Controlling Board Areas CEO/F&A/HR is acting as a business partner for Global Business Units providing business advice on improvement initiatives in addition to financial reporting and analysis.

We are currently looking for a Senior Controller (f/m) for units within the Board Area Global Facility Management. The potential candidate will report to the Manager Business Controlling Global Finance & Administration.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Support global business units within the Board Area Global Facility Management as a Business partner impacting board area performance
* Provide advice on improvement initiatives and transformation projects in addition to financial reporting and analysis
* Provide transparency regarding risks and opportunities in our financial performance at any time
* Conduct and monitor financial planning activities for various business units (budgeting and forecasting)
* Prepare benchmarks and analysis with the objective to drive operational efficiency and to optimize resource utilization
* Conceptual enhancement of our current controlling models and processes
* Ensure compliance within the assigned business units
* Drive controlling-related projects
* Support creation of business cases

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 5+ years of experience in controlling and financial business analysis, preferably in a multinational company of comparable size to SAP or within the IT industry

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree, MBA or similar with emphasis in Finance / Controlling
* Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to present analysis to senior management
* Strong process management and problem solving skills
* Ability to coordinate individuals across teams
* Solid basis in cost accounting and Business Controlling
* Strong IT systems skills (SAP SEM)
* Very good knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel/PowerPoint)
* Strong German and English language skills
