PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The product area Identity Management & Platform Security is responsible for the SAP NetWeaver Identity Management product and the security features of the SAP Netweaver Technology platforms.

SAP NetWeaver Identity Management is SAPs product to centrally manage user accounts in heterogeneous system landscapes with self-service management and workflow capabilities. It offers both provisioning as well as standards-based federation and single sign-on functionality.

Our platform security comprises capabilities needed for secure & compliant business processes like user and access management, data security including encryption, digital signatures and secure connectivity.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* You join the team to collaborate with our customers, stakeholders and the development organization to define the security functionality and requirements of our SAP NetWeaver technology platforms
* You work with the architects and development organization to provide help with security related questions and ensure that the software meets SAP security standards
* You coordinate and drive cross topic projects related to security functionality

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 3 years experience in Software Development, Architecture or Project Management

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree in computer science or related area with excellent results
* Proficiency in one or more of the development environments or languages used at SAP (ABAP(TM), Java, C)
* Optional knowledge in the areas of software security or cryptography. At least strong interest in these areas is mandatory
* Strong analytical and coordination skills
* Ability to express and drive the resolution of technical problems effectively
* Fluent in German and English
* Customer focused and a team player
* Knowledge of SAP products, as well as development processes (for example, product innovation lifecycle) is beneficial
