PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Lifecycle Management is recognized as one of the most essential topics to our product success and also as key differentiator in the market.
As part of Lifecycle Management, Software Logistic enables many aspects of the product lifecycle: installation, copy, update and upgrade of SAP systems.
Our mission is to provide customers with high quality and easy to use software logistic tools and procedures to perform system operations at an overall low TCO (Total cost of ownership). Main focus is to lower the outages of productive systems to a minimum, ideally to Zero!

As Developer for Business Continuity you join a motivated team with locations in Walldorf (Germany) to develop, assemble and optimize maintenance procedures for different products across the portfolio of SAP.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You strengthen our team of developers and take over various tasks:

* Contribute to the full lifecycle of development, through specification, design and implementation
* Develop various maintenance procedures, beginning from a patch up to an release upgrade for SAP products
* Discuss and align requirements with product stakeholders
* Optimization of existing procedures to minimize the productive outage and to increase supportability, robustness and simplicity
* Automation of production and assembly tasks

WORK EXPERIENCE
* A minimum of 6 years experience in software development.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Degree in computer science, business administration, natural sciences, or engineering
* Good communication and technical skills
* Programming experience in Abap and/or Java.
* Operating System knowledge on Windows and Linux Platform
* Know how about Abap transport system and DB administration
* Team spirit
* Focused, pragmatic and result oriented
* Flexible and quickly adopting to new tasks/challenges
* Proficient in German and English
