PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Development Landscape Management (DLM) department - as part of the Application Continuous Innovation organization - is responsible for the complete life cycle management (planning, production, and operations) of development landscapes for SAP Business Suite products. It will drive and execute all required activities based on an end-to-end approach and facilitate all functions from development engagement to design, production, and service of those landscapes.

We as the DLM internal Processes, Tools and Optimization Office are looking for a highly motivated Developer / Senior Developer with a strong background in tool architecture and tool development to support, streamline and automate our internal business processes.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a (Senior) Developer (f/m) in the SAP DLM internal tools office you will be working within a team of very talented and motivated colleagues.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, test, documentation and maintenance of DLM internal tools. Your focus will be on small & medium development projects to enhance and improve our internal tools portfolio.

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 3 to 5 years' experience of ABAP applications/ tool development on SAP business software.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
We require that you meet the core competencies and skills listed below:
* B.E/ MCA/ M. Tech/ MS from reputed institutions.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and be able to apply them in a complex, heterogeneous technical environment.
* Strong knowledge in ABAP and ABAP Objects programming. ABAP Web Dynpro programming desirable.
* SAP Basis and IT Infrastructure Knowledge
* Strong background in database concepts and relational data models.
* Very good communication and presentation skills in both German and English
* Know-how of SAP products
* Project Management skills are beneficial
* Ability to work on areas that are outside one's core competencies and yet still perform.
* Ability to work in small international teams as strong team player.
* Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PPT, etc.)
