PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP® ERP Financials provides comprehensive financial management and accounting solutions for all industries. It enables our customers' enterprises to optimize their financial supply chains and to improve internal control processes for effective corporate governance. Our future developments will be driven by the adoption of new technologies, such as HANA and mobile.

Currently SAP is starting a major investment in product development and innovations for emerging markets focusing on China. In this context ERP Financials plays a key role as door opener to new customers.

To advance our Financial Operations product we are looking for experienced colleagues with sound functional knowledge in this area, who enjoy working in an international environment with close cooperation between our development teams in Walldorf and Shanghai.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Work as a developer in a cross-functional scrum team including design, implementation, testing and maintenance of software
* Contribution to software specification as well as architecture and concept definition
* Openness to agile software development principles and commitment to the lean development model
* Engagement in continuous improvement activities
* Close collaboration with other development teams, product owner and solution management
* Active contribution to knowledge build-up activities within own team and other teams (in Shanghai and Walldorf)
* Strong focus on customer requirements and value

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 3+ years of practical development experience in the area of Financial Operations
* Experience in agile software development methodologies (like scrum, pair programming, test driven development, ...) are a plus

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Master degree in computer science, natural science, mathematics, business administration or in economics - or comparable qualification
* Comprehensive ABAP/ ABAP Objects development skills
* Good business process and functional knowledge in/ around Financial Operations
* Excellent analytical skills
* Strong customer orientation
* Motivation to take initiative and to work in a cross-functional and intercultural team
* Solid communication skills in German and English
