PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Globalization Services (GS) acts as One Face to the Field Organization and SAP Customers for all globalization topics: internationalization, localization and translation.

The department consists of more than 20 nationalities representing all continents. Our Organization is built by international development centers located in Germany, Brazil, Czech Republic, China and India. The department language is English.

Our Team is focused on the Human Capital Management (HCM) Module with strong focus on Payroll calculation including legal reporting (XML or Form based). We develop and maintain software supporting payroll and subsequent processes.

We work on a highly dynamic, international environment with very short development cycles and contact with our Customers and Subsidiary in our supported countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Netherlands and Switzerland. Also work in cross-application projects together with our remote development centers is planned.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The Position involves the following tasks:
* Support our Local Product Management with specification and roll-in activities
* Software Design; implementation of new developments and legal changes in our Payroll solution
* Testing activities, Tester support
* Support Roll-out activities in our Subsidiaries, contact with our Customers and User Groups
* Maintenance of existing solutions in a variety of ERP Releases
* Cross-application projects with our remote development centers

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Ideally 2 or more years in SAP application development
* Preferred: Experience in HCM /Payroll or comparable ERP Application

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Degree in computer or natural science, engineering or equivalent subject
* Strong programming skills on at least one programming language
* Alternatively BA study or apprenticeship at SAP
* Very good powers of comprehension and high quality commitment
* Willingness to quickly acquire understanding in new areas
* Fluent English; language skills in French, Dutch or German are a strong plus
* Constructive and open style of communication; flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures
* Willingness to perform some travel
* Readiness to work on short development cycles including development, testing, ramp-up and customer support
