PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Changes to business requirements often result in the realignment of a company's business or corporate structure. This involves various IT-based activities, such as consolidation, harmonization, and optimization of processes. It is also important to reduce IT-complexity in order to help our customers to realize their business goals.
The service portfolio of the SAP System Landscape Optimization (SLO) group supports the evolving needs of our customers in a challenging economic environment.
The SLO development team, together with the Global SLO field service hub, is currently refining and increasing its service portfolio to keep up with increasing demand, and to strengthen its position as the market leader in this area. To facilitate this strategy, the SLO development team is looking for graduates and experienced professionals (1-7 years work experience).

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As an SLO developer (f/m), you will work in a global team creating products and services to realize business driven reorganizations in productive SAP applications and system landscapes. Our software development is often driven by customer projects worldwide, in which the value you create becomes tangible quickly. Your tasks will include: * Design and build a new SAP standard product SAP Landscape Transformation
* Develop software tools and procedures for customers, consulting colleagues, and the SLO remote service delivery team to use in data migration and conversion projects
* Conduct analyses to scope and plan the solution approach in reorganization and migration projects
* Support customer projects, ramping up new SLO solutions in collaboration with SLO consulting and development colleagues

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
As a graduate, you offer:
* An excellent university degree, preferably in sciences, engineering, or business administration
* Good German and English language skills
* You are a team player with a proactive approach to work, with excellent interpersonal and networking skills
* You combine a structured problem solving approach with a positive 'can do' attitude
* Relevant work experience or an internship will be viewed favorably

As an experienced professional, you offer in addition:
* Excellent programming skills - preferably ABAP-OO
* Experience of working in an SAP environment
* Customer-oriented work attitude
* Experience of working in international and distributed teams
* Knowledge of, or implementation experience of one of the following modules ERP CO, LO, MM or FI modules or experience in BW, SCM, or Industry Solutions
