PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP-s central Tools & Infrastructure team supports SAP-s software development processes with tools to ensure that the right investment decisions are transformed into complete and high quality products.
The Product and Production Management System (PPMS) is one of the tools required for managing the software lifecycle; it is the central information system for SAP software products including interfaces to many tools used in SAP-s End-to-End Software lifecycle management processes. We are looking for a (Senior) Developer joining the PPMS Development Team.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a member of the PPMS Development team you will design and develop new features for PPMS as a master data tool as well as automation services using the PPMS data, using ABAP Objects as your primary development environment. Our development efforts focus on enabling the delivery and maintenance of the next generation of SAP software.
Your responsibilities will cover all phases of the software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, rollout, and maintenance of the applications.

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years of software development experience

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering
* Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, preferable ABAP OO
* Strong analytical skills and personal initiative
* Team-orientation and good communication skills
* Fast-learning and goal-oriented working style
* Good command of written and spoken German and English
* Knowledge of software logistic processes is a plus
