PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As the management consultancy of SAP, SAP Business Transformation Services (BTS) supports customers from all industries with the modeling design and implementation of innovative value structures business processes based on SAP solutions. The aim is to create flexible, cross-company processes, thereby significantly influencing enterprises growth, profitability, and strategic positioning against their competition. A major factor for doing so successfully is to identify and fulfill customers requirements, both from an IT perspective and in relation to the affected departments. SAP Business Transformation Services uses strategic analyses, designs, and implementation scenarios to add value to companies by:
* Developing and putting into practice groundbreaking strategies for business processes and IT
* Implementing best-practice business processes and based on innovative technology solutions
* Preparing investment decisions based on detailed business case examinations
* Enabling cost reductions (total cost of operation) and process efficiency (total value of ownership)

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The areas specified above offer a broad range of tasks related to the execution and management of IT strategy projects. SAP Business Transformation Services has developed its own methodology for these tasks:
* Analyzing the current business and IT strategy
* Developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the business strategy
* Program management in SAP projects
* Performing total cost of ownership and total value of ownership analyses
* Analyzing business processes and evaluating potential for harmonization and standardization
* Optimizing business processes in the dimensions, process flow, organizational structure and IT support
* Development of complex application landscapes
* Development and realization of implementation strategies
* Template concepts and rollout
* Calculation and analysis of the total cost of ownership
* Establishment and optimization of IT organizations

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Minimum six years consulting experience or experience with one of the top global Consumer Products companies
* Extensive experience of project management in international consulting projects

TRAVEL
International travel required

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree
* Excellent knowledge of the business processes in the consumer products industry in at least one of the following process areas: Research & Development, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Sales, or Marketing
* Knowledge of the current trends and methods in IT strategyof the relevant SAP solutions
* SAP expertise
* Excellent written and spoken German and English
