PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As a service consultant (f/m) you are analyzing IT solutions in the area of Business Intelligence for our international customers and present the results of your findings and optimization potential to IT managers and executives.

For this task we are looking for passionate and communicative people who enjoy working in a team. In your work life you will experience a variety of challenges and find hardly routine tasks. Since we provide services mainly onsite at our customers business travel is an essential part of your work life.

The Center of Expertise (CoE). a subdivision of the SAP Active Global Support, has the goal and mission to ensure optimal performance, availability and smooth operation of SAP software as well as to optimize technical - and business processes by delivering service to customers. Therefore the CoE is in constant exchange with SAP development, support engineers and service developers.

In the Business Intelligence CoE, we deal with SAP BI solutions based on SAP NetWeaver and SAP Business Objects software components in equal measure.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
When starting in this new position you must not be a SAP BW and SAP Business Objects expert (f/m) in all areas, however we expect in-depth knowledge and support experience in at least one of the following areas:

* SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse, SAP Business Objects Integration Kit BW, SAP Business Objects Xcelsius
* SAP Business Objects WebIntelligence, Voyager SAP Business Objects, SAP Business Objects Crystal Reports
* SAP Business Objects Explorer, SAP BW Accelerator, SAP Business Objects Data Services

Through our SAP support internal training program and "Training-on-the-job" you'll get the ideal training and knowledge you need for a successful start and integration in our team.

Your area of responsibility extends to performance and availability analysis of complex SAP system landscapes with focus on SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Objects - Business Intelligence, BW Accelerator and Business Objects Explorer. You are always working with brand new software technologies within the SAP NetWeaver and SAP Web AS (ABAP and Java) as well as the broad spectrum of SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence software solutions.

Your task is to analyze for customers within the SAP Premium Support Segment (SAP MaxAttention / SAP Safeguarding), technical problem areas in complex systems, isolate issues and bottlenecks and come up with solutions.

To meet the challenging requirements you should be a quick learner, with good analytical skills, be creativity, open minded and good in communication and convincing others with facts on technical details.

As part of a team with more than 300 employees in SAP Active Global Support, you are in constant exchange with the SAP development and the global SAP support centers to assist our customers in an optimal way and to find appropriate solutions. We perform our analysis either onsite at our client's or remote from the back office located in the SAP headquarter in Walldorf or next to Walldorf in the Service and Support Center in St. Leon-Rot.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You have completed your study (bachelor or master), preferably with technical degree (technical college or university) and work currently in the SAP Business Intelligence Support / Technical Customer Assurance (TCA) and seek new challenges.
