PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The SAP Solution Manager application management facilitates technical support for distributed systems - with functionality that covers all key aspects of solution deployment, operation, and continuous improvement. As a centralized, robust application management and administration solution, SAP Solution Manager combines tools, content, and direct access to SAP to increase the reliability of solutions and lower total cost of ownership.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Based on LEAN principles the development team works in Scrum mode and lives agile principles (e.g. Pair Programming, Unit Testing, Test Automation). You'll be part of the Scrum team in the Developer role covering all stages and tasks within the entire software development cycle:
* You contribute actively to architecture and design of the developed solutions
* You take over responsibility for OO design, implementation and unit testing of new features as well as maintenance of legacy code
* You cooperate closely with the product owner and other development teams

WORK EXPERIENCE
More than 3 years experience in ABAP OO software design, implementation and test. Beneficial:
* Experience in SAP Solution Manger development
* Experience in the area of SAP application customizing
* Experience in Web 2.0/AJAX/HTML5 development (SAP/Non-SAP)
* Experience with agile development methodologies

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree in IT, Business Informatics or related area
* Profound knowledge of the ABAP technology stack: system architecture, transport system, DDIC, Open SQL, customizing framework, transaction handling, process and locking koncept, performance behavior
* Excellent knowledge of ABAP OO and object oriented programming concepts
* Fluent in spoken and written German and English
* Strong team player with a proactive approach to work, good interpersonal and networking skills
* Constant willingness to learn
