PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP's internal business landscape is a strategic enabler for SAP and therefore crucial for SAP's future success. We are looking for experienced colleagues who like to work in a highly motivated team.
The Global IT Enterprise Architect's main goal is to create the best overall strategic enterprise architecture for SAP's business landscape. In order to do this the Enterprise Architect needs solid understanding of enterprise architecture methods, SAP product offerings as well as a high level understanding of the technology stack.
Strong interpersonal skills are needed to understand the client's as is situation and real pain points.
The Global IT Enterprise Architect supports the CIO and the Global IT Management team to develop a strategy and overall architecture road map for SAP's business landscape.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Ability to percolate complex problem situations
* Strong background in the main SAP technologies, including NetWeaver components and platforms
* Deep knowledge in at least one of these focus areas: enterprise architecture desing, SAP landscape design, business architecture, information architecture
* Develop overarching enterprise architecture roadmaps and decision proposals

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years professional experience as an architect in the SAP environment

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences or engineering
* Proven leadership and coaching skills in a distributed organization of highly motivated and qualified individuals
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills, and an ability to rapidly develop an extended personal network
* Strong presentation skills at all levels, including written and oral English
* Project management skills and judgment to assure ideal prioritization
* High degree of personal maturity, an orientation to goals and success, an ability to work well under stress
