PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

We deliver a full lifecycle of custom development services - from the strategic planning of a development project through delivery and maintenance of the solution. With development centers in Walldorf, St. Ingbert, Newtown Square, Bangalore, Shanghai, Palo Alto, Delhi, Tokyo and Sao Leopoldo, we are able to leverage a global delivery model that utilizes the specific strengths of each location.

To further strengthen our business in the Mobile Area we are looking for a sales oriented Solution Architect to extend our footprint in this sector.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As solution architect with focus Mobile Solutions, you will develop the Custom Development business in the Mobile area and significantly contribute to the SAP Custom Development revenue and profitability targets by maximizing and growing our business around custom specific solutions in this segment.
Expected main tasks:
* Pro-actively generate, assess and drive Custom Development opportunities together with the field organization
* Execute qualifications and functional/technical evaluations for CDPs
* Identify new business potential to extend our Custom development business share based on mobile solutions
* Based on requirements from different customers you will identify common approaches in order to extend our portfolio for reusable solutions
* Collaborate with the standard development units as well as with the field organization (consulting, sales) in positioning Custom Development and contributing to generate Custom Development business
* Establish, protect and cultivate customer relationships
* Be up to date of trends, processes, regulations in the Mobile area

WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 3-5 years experience in Mobile segment, ideally based on SAP applications
* Experience in Custom Software Sevelopment / Consulting / Business Development or Solution Management with focus on sales support would be an advantage

TRAVEL
Willingness to travel is required and dependent on project requirements (30%+)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Comprehensive (SAP) Mobile experience from a technical perspective
* Profound knowledge about SAP Mobile applications (for example MAM/MAU, DSD, etc.) and market as well as technology trends
* Intensive networking and team orientation
* Good understanding and experience of custom software development, its complexities, the key business requirements for execution and a good understanding of scoping at high level
* Very good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
* Self management and objective focused working mode
* Highly customer-oriented
* Highest engagement, reliability and success driven with a "can do" attitude
* Strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English
* Business acumen in combination with technology expertise
* Fluent English and German in speaking and writing
