PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Companies that are classified by SAP as Mill Products & Mining companies are those that are extracting and processing raw materials like in the mining industry or those that manufacture or convert metal, paper, wood, or textiles into industrial and consumer products. Typically these companies have quite variable product and process structures and therefore have very complex requirements e.g. in the areas of sales, supply chain management, manufacturing, quality management and asset management. SAP's customers in Mill Products & Mining are the leaders in their respective segments.
The IBU Mill Products & Mining represents SAP worldwide in this very important market segment. The IBU goal is to ensure SAP's success in these industries. This includes aspects like software revenue, customer satisfaction and solution completeness. Therefore, the team members have to understand industry trends and strategies in the different segments of the Mill Products & Mining ecosystem. They will help to design the solutions that will meet the needs of our customers by working closely with development, field and customers.
We are looking for a team member focusing on the end-to-end business processes in Supply Chain Management, Contract-to-Cash, Operations, and Enterprise Asset Management who has a strong background in the Mining industry. We offer a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated individual in a strong team.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Good team spirit and ability to work in a virtual and global team
* SCM, Contract-to-Cash, Operations and EAM Solution Management for the Mining industry
* Solution Positioning and close collaboration with Industry Marketing
* Industry-specific roll-out of solutions and functionality to field, partners and customers
* Support of sales and pre-sales for strategic opportunities
* Support of quality assurance in strategic customer implementations
* Roll-in of industry-specific requirements into the product organization using Market Requirement Documents
* Software partner evaluations and collaboration
* Close collaboration with respective development organizations to understand functionality, strategy, future plans as well as industry gaps

WORK EXPERIENCE
* Work experience in consulting or similar tasks in the SCM, Contract-to-Cash and/or Operations area of Mining industry
* Good business / industry experience in the Mining industry

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Background in SAP ERP & SAP IS-Mine
* Deep mining industry insights and experience
* Good analytical skills and the ability to think in processes
* Strong English language skills
* Good presentation skills
