PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Banking is one of the strategic growth markets for SAP. In order to accomplish SAP's product portfolio for the global Banking market, the role of the Product Unit Financial Services (Banking) is:
* Understanding the requirements and priorities of the market worldwide
* Define and develop best business applications for the banking industry
* Ensure high quality and product usage

During the last years SAP developed a powerful product portfolio based on a service oriented architecture and established thought leadership across the entire portfolio.

We are looking for talented, motivated individuals with can-do attitude to help position and enhance SAP´s product strategy along the banking specific value chain.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Product Owner in the Product team banking you will contribute to the product portfolio strategy. As a major task you will drive the preparation of the up coming development cycle.

Your main responsibilities will be:
* Definition of product strategy
* Prioritize and define roadmaps
* Conceptual pre-work for execution
* Analyze, define and describe market and business needs as requirements
* Management of requirements
* Validation and collaboration with customers
* Communicate and broadcast within the Product Unit Financial Services

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 3+ years experience in banking industry
* Strong experience in defining and describing business needs and transforming into IT concepts and requirements
* Very good understanding of methodologies

TRAVEL
Approx 20%

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Above average university/master/bachelor degree ideally focusing on Banking
* Broad knowledge in banking business processes
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and perform strategic concepts
* Ability to transform business needs in IT requirements in different levels of details
* Customer experience; strong communication skills
* Experience in team work with virtual teams globally
* Good english language skills
