PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

No matter what kind of advice or action customer requires, no matter where and when customers need it, no matter what industry or current IT landscape, SAP and its partners can provide the answer. With SAP, support is comprehensive and available for the entire solution life cycle irrespective of customer size (large enterprise, midsize or small enterprise) or distribution channel (direct or indirect). Our professionals are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer and partner service and support.
SAP Active Global Support offers comprehensive services for every aspect of your software implementation, operations and upgrades, including continuous improvement, quality management, problem resolution, and knowledge transfer. In 2008 SAP introduced SAP Enterprise Support to it's ecosystem - the industry unmatched offering for end-to-end support for end-to-end solutions. To address with this most recent offering the varying requirements of different market segments, AGS has established a dedicated team focusing in particular on SAP Enterprise Support for Midsize Enterprises (ME) and Indirect Channel. Aim is to accelerate SAP's success in the Small and Medium Enterprise segment and enable the partner ecosystem.
Among our key activities are
* shaping SAP's service and support strategy for VARs serving complex midsize enterprises
* mapping of current and planned usage scenarios within SAP Solution Manager against the Value Added Reseller (VAR) profile and legal requirements
* increasing partner readiness by building the empowerment for VAR support teams (people & organisation) and related monitoring
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Able to work on multiple and complex tasks as well as being able to work in a virtual and international environment (ability to interact with employees / management of all levels)
* Experience working in a global project environment with different stakeholders
* Good analytical and quality oriented skills (quality focus); goal-oriented approach to your work
* Experience in Global Service and Support (GSS) as a basic
* Excellent skills in MS-Office, and SAP systems (i.e. ISP, BW, OSP, delivery systems)
* Excellent organizational skills and self motivation are a must
* Willingness to work overtime at times and with high flexibility
* Knowing business demand(s) in program office and operations related tasks
* Reliable, conscientious and committed
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* University Degree (like Business, Language, IT, Natural Sciences, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent. Experience in a customer focused environment is and advantage
* 4+ years work experience in IT business; know-how in IT support processes and ITIL essential
* Experience in implementation projects & customer operations preferred
* Former experience in Product Management or Business IT roles beneficial
* Language Skills: proficient in EN and DE (verbal and written)
