PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP is expanding its software- and service offerings considerably and aligning its portfolio to the customers' needs. The Service Business Management department is faced with a dynamic, international environment. By focusing on the SME (small-medium enterprise) service and support market of the Business Solutions and Technology Division, Service Business Management contributes vitally to the expansion of service offerings and positioning of software on the SME market.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
SAP Business ByDesign is the most comprehensive On-Demand-Business-Solution on the market. It integrates all business areas of a modern company in one single solution. The extensive functionality of SAP Business ByDesign will become furthermore extendable by external add-on software packages.

In the course of your work, you will develop a concept about the possibilities to extend the core-functionality of Business ByDesign by applications developed in an open community. The study should encompass business aspects as well as technology aspects.

Besides writing your thesis you are encouraged to take over further tasks and/or support the service consultants in their daily work.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (f/m) of a university or a university of applied sciences
* Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields
* Sound knowledge of standard software programs (MS Office)
* Fluency in German and good knowledge of English language - written and spoken
* Self motivated
* Ambitious & team minded
* Analytical mindset

Describe your experience and skills with foreign languages, computer programs, and programming languages.
