PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Language Services (SLS) is responsible for translating all SAP products worldwide. SLS outsources the majority of its translation work to midsize translation agencies. Internal SLS staff support this outsourcing by supplying a range of planning, quality, monitoring and expert linguistic services.

Besides other tasks, the SLS Acoount Management team is responsible for the development and maintenance of internal tools that are used to support the various SLS teams in their tasks,
i.e. budgeting and planning, project and vendor management, reporting and controlling, etc.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Main tasks include the following:
* Provide consulting to SAP-internal development teams regarding translation projects
* Drive the setup process for translation projects (budget, technical, scheduling, handover)
* Collaborate with SLS operations staff to ensure adequate info flow to handle translation projects, optimize processes and develop professional, resource-efficient service offerings for SAP-internal customers

Experience in translation industry or in translation-related function at SAP

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Analytical and problem-solving mindset
* Fondness for working in a highly motivated professional team while being able to work alone on single projects
* Ability to work in a well-structured way and quickly adapt to new requirements
* Fluency in English and German, both oral and written (additional language skills would be advantageous)
* Knowledge of SAP translation processes required
* Trados and MS Office skills
* Ideally experience in project management experience and presentation
