PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Global Commodity Management (GCM) IT supports the Global Purchasing Organization (GPO) in its goals of combining all SAP procurement units, significantly improving SAP's performance by leveraging our overall purchasing power, and realizing sustainable savings by executing globally streamlined commodity strategies.

Within the GPO, we strive to implement best-in-class procurement processes, deliver first-class services to our internal customers, mitigate risk for SAP, and be a fair partner to our vendors.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Support GCM IT colleagues in rolling out purchasing related programs to regional purchasing colleagues
* Coordinate communication between GCM IT and regional colleagues
* Set up presentations to facilitate process change management
* Support projects in the different areas within the Global Purchasing Organization as required
* Support GCM IT in administrative activities

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (m/f) of a university or a university of applied sciences in Business Administration / Economics / Information Technology
* Good MS Office skills ( Excel and Powerpoint)
* Fluent English and good skills in German, both wrtitten and spoken
* Flexibility and ability to work in a global team
* Strong communication skills
* Good, complex and analytical thinking
* Self-driven and highly motivated
* Project management experience from other internships would be appreciated
