PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Purchasing Strategy and Implementation (PSI) team works on challenging projects within the Global Purchasing Office (GPO) to improve performance in purchasing.The objectives are:* Define global process strategies for the future design of procurement handling and implement best-in-class procurement processes
* Add value by managing procurement projects on a global and cross-commodity basis
* Provide first-class services to our internal and external customers by coordinating GPO initiatives
* Ensure an excellent image for SAP® through extended use of SAP software
* Mitigate risk for SAP by promoting the use of standard SAP procurement processes with unified process controls

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Support colleagues on the PSI team in their projects and daily business
* Support PSI projects by preparing and designing relevant project documents with Microsoft Office software
* Collect, report on, and analyze data with internal SAP systems
* Set up presentations for project meetings and management conferences
* Revise documentation in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; design processes with Visio / ARIS
* Update and edit information in SAP Corporate Portal
* Combine purchasing related issues with technical implementation via Visual Basic etc.
* Maintain internal tools: project pipeline, savings tool, and audit tracker

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences with focus on Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Informatics
* Strong skills in MS Office 2007
* Knowledge of Macros and Database Programming (Access) would be an advantage
* Knowledge of SAP ISP system preferred
* Fluent in written and oral German and English
* Strong communication skills
* Good complex and analytical thinking skills
* Self-motivation and drive
* Flexibility and an ability to work in a team
