PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a student (f/m) to support the project activities of the central Knowledge Management team and neighboring teams.

Engineering Cross Functions, Knowledge Management (ECF KM) is a central team of almost 20 colleagues within, Product & Solutions (P&S), one of SAPs largest development units. The team is based in Walldorf, Germany, and is responsible for different aspects of Knowledge Management, supporting the information developers and knowledge managers worldwide.

Examples of strategic projects driven by P&S ECF KM are: analyzing customer feedback and driving the implementation of customer requirements for KM products; optimizing knowledge architecture; improving productivity by providing effective processes and tools for information development. The team is also responsible for ongoing topics such as the recruiting and training of information developers, providing standards and guidelines, and enabling quality assurance measures. We also manage internal and external communication for the KM community and provide reporting information for management.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Administration and project-related activities such as compiling reports and building prototypes
* Updating documents on the company intranet and administration of wikis
* Assisting with the organization of meetings, training events, and info sessions
* Maintaining an internal guide to tools and processes for other students
* Candidates who are native-English speakers: proofreading English texts written by non-native speakers

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student (m/f) of a university or a university of applied sciences
* Preferred fields of study: languages, business or related fields
* Strong IT skills, in particular with the Microsoft Office products
* Knowledge of HTML would be an advantage
* Strong writing abilities in English and a good command of German
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Interest in business and IT
* Ability to work independently plus commitment and a sense of responsibility
* Flexibility and readiness to learn new skills at short notice
