Our department is responsible for delivering state of the art web frameworks and services for the User Interfaces of SAP applications.
This includes for example:

* The Fiori Launchpad which is the single point of access to all SAP applications that follow the Fiori Design paradigm used for example for all S/4HANA solutions.

* The “UI Development Toolkit for HTML5” (also known as SAPUI5), a highly scalable, cross-browser JavaScript Framework. SAPUI5 incorporates a rich set of web controls based on HTML5, which are used to create the UIs of Business Applications designed for desktop, tablets or mobile devices. SAPUI5 is available for the developer community as OpenUI5.

* The UI integration and productivity services which are crucial for enabling end users to use multiple applications in an integrated way across technologies.

We are looking for a (Senior) Developer to strengthen our highly skilled web framework development teams, which is responsible for the architecture and implementation of important parts of SAPUI5 and the Fiori Launchpad in different technology stacks (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA Cloud/On-Premise and SAP Cloud Platform).

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP’s Events group designs, manages and executes a portfolio of key events on a global basis which engage customers and prospects in meaningful dialogue, and provides a forum for the exchange of information on new technological developments, innovative business strategies, and industry trends in an effort to further SAP’s sales, marketing, and corporate objectives.
The SAP Events portfolio currently includes diverse external and internal offerings such as SAPPHIRE NOW, SAP TechEd, SAP Forums; key 3rd Party Global Events such as Mobile World Congress, CeBIT, National Retail Forum and others.
The open position is an opportunity to support and assist the SAP Events Team in the execution and roll out of events and marketing programs across the world, more specifically for SAPPHIRE NOW 2018. 
SAPPHIRE NOW has been SAP’s flagship event for many years, with 20,000 participants on-site, and tens of thousands on-line. It is a brand in itself with high recognition.
One of the most important aspects to SAP events is the high quality – high relevance content that is delivered to our customers: it helps them make decisions, not only in terms of attendance to the events themselves, but more importantly on their IT and technology investments with SAP.
This position will play a key role in the content planning and delivery processes.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Content Delivery Director is seeking a working student (f/m) who can support a wide range of tasks, from admin support to interacting with internal and external stakeholders such as event speakers.
You will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution process of all content delivered during the events as well as the quality of the content delivery itself.
Your tasks will include, though will not be limited to: 

* Participating in the development of a speaker coaching program, and managing it;

* Suggesting ideas to simplify the speaker coaching process and improve the team’s customer experience, and executing improvements;

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Global Security (SGS) is the central organization responsible for various security aspects of the company such as ensuring Secure Development, Secure Operations, Physical Security and Security Culture. Within SGS, the Secure Development organization is responsible for ensuring that all SAP products shipped to the customer follow a Secure Software Development Lifecycle. Within Secure Development organization, the Security Testing and Validation team is responsible for defining and driving secure development and testing strategy for SAP’s products, offering central tools and services and validating SAP products as independent first customers.
The Open Source Software Security project is a project with the objective of providing tools and services to inform development organizations on publicly known vulnerabilities in their open source components. The team’s current responsibilities include developing an SAP internal tool called Software Vulnerability Monitor, hosting external tools such as SourceClear and Synopsys Protecode, and maintaining relationships with the tool vendors.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As member of the Open Source Security project team, you will be responsible for:

* Installing, operating and maintaining external security tools such as SourceClear and Protecode to scan open source software

* Developing the internal tool Software Vulnerability Monitor to assist development organizations to assess vulnerabilities in their OSS components.

* Consulting development organizations to enable them to use these tools for their technologies and development landscapes

* Communicating regularly on progress and roadblocks by providing daily updates in the scrum meeting, providing transparency to the stakeholders in SGS management and other development organizations

* Collecting and communicating requirements on behalf of SAP to our external tool vendors

* Contributing to the project roadmap, identifying gaps and areas of collaboration with other topics in SGS

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Cloud Platform is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) to manage and develop applications in public and private clouds. It is based on open standards, such as Cloud Foundry and runs on different Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) layers, such as OpenStack, AWS, Azure, and GCP. In the Cloud Foundry BOSH team at SAP we build the toolchain for installing and managing Cloud Foundry and services full-time in open-source. Close collaboration with other teams in the Cloud Foundry Foundation, especially those in San Francisco and Toronto, is a lived practice. We pair program all day, every day, and test-drive our code changes.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As developer and member of our SAP Cloud Platform organization you will contribute to Cloud Foundry as the underlying open-source platform. Specifically to our team being responsible for BOSH and the OpenStack CPI. Exposure to newest technologies and open-source projects will be your daily life.

The SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) team strive to use the latest technology to enhance warehouse productivity. Simplification and tightening integration within SAP S/4HANA are topics where we are investing further. To assist in these plans, we are looking for a highly motivated Associate Developer who has an aptitude for translating business scenarios into technical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

SAP EWM enables our customers to manage simple, as well as, high-volume warehouse operations in the logistics supply chain. The integrated functions and business processes within SAP EWM provide a high level of process and inventory transparency, precise planning of warehouse steps, as well as efficient distribution and storage processes within a warehouse.

SAP EWM has evolved from its beginnings as a customer development project to being SAP’s strategic standard warehousing solution and also part of SAP S/4HANA. At SAP EWM we want to become the leader of the supply chain execution market, enabling our customers in all facets of moving inventory, optimizing assets, and fulfilling demand.

We are seen as a best-of-breed solution in the market, maintaining a position in the "Leaders" quadrant of Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Warehouse Management Systems. Our current customer base comprises over 1300 customers, and is growing fast.
Currently three teams are located in Walldorf, and two in Shanghai: all working in close collaboration with customers and partners.

You will work as an Associate Developer within a scrum team and actively contribute to all steps within development including backlog definition, specification, design, implementation, quality assurance and ramp up support.
