Within our development unit we are in charge of building a Business Suite based, end-to-end Master Data Governance (MDG) solution. This new solution is intended to be the central infrastructure with large SAP-centric system landscapes. The needs of our customers revolve around entities such as charts of accounts in financials, material or suppliers and customers.
Our objective is to provide a comprehensive state-of-the-art environment to support innovative processes for data stewardship, import from external sources, central data consolidation and maintenance, mass maintenance, approval and distribution to de-central systems etc.

Erforderliche Kenntnisse:

* Bachelor-, Master-, oder Diplomabschluss oder Promotion in Informatik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Naturwissenschaften oder ähnlichen Bereichen

* Gute Programmierkenntnisse in JAVA und Objektorientierung allgemein

* Sehr gutes analytisches Denkvermögen sowie schnelles Lernvermögen und hohe Auffassungsgabe, um betriebswirtschaftliche Anforderungen in neuen Lösungen abzubilden

* Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein und Zuverlässigkeit

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP as one of the biggest suppliers of Enterprise Resource Planning software globally cooperates with Third Party Software Vendors in strategic topics. These Third-Party Solutions complement SAP’s solution portfolio and are offered by SAP directly to the market.
This business was founded in 2016 via the “3rd Party Sales Organization”, operates since then very successfully and will be expanded based on the growing market potential. Intensive collaboration with these partners ensures the success. Internal strategic positioning and coordination in daily business are important tasks and are determined by a strong collaboration with the partners.
To succeed our goals in this area numerous activities (e.g. campaigns and events) have to be planned and coordinated together with our partners on a regional and local level, internal enabling is offered and regular reviews with partners and the sales teams are conducted. In order to achieve best in class results under the given circumstances and resources constraints, new and existing partners and their solutions are evaluated and reviewed on a regular basis.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

This dynamic environment with strategic Third Party providers includes challenges in a broad and interesting field of business every day.
The working student / intern will get interesting insights into the partner management business which also provides the opportunity to broaden his/her network internally and externally of SAP. Diversity of activities, regular contact to local and regional management and dynamic of the market require a flexible working method with autonomous and innovative behavior.
All activities will be aligned with the local Partner Manager who also supports the working student in realizing his tasks in a professional manner. Analysis and development of new customer segments are part of the job profile as well as specific demand generation initiatives, coordination of events, assets (like internal and external presentations) and reporting tasks for business reviews.
