DBS Global Services Delivery (GSD) is the cornerstone for customer satisfaction and retention. Providing the right skills to deliver the right customer service for all of SAPs solutions everywhere in the world is the task of this global organization. In order to do this successfully, the team needs to continuously focus on innovation and utilize all service delivery channels (on-site, near-shore, off-shore) at best. The HR Business Partner Team which supports this organization on a global scale is looking for an intern (f/m). Acting as the main contact point for internal customers, employees and managers this team delivers competent and service-oriented guidance and support across all Areas of HR.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We are looking for an Intern, who will help to cover all relevant tasks related to the general HR support as mentioned above. We are offering insight into the complete HR-approach required for a globally active business unit.
The tasks include:

* Support daily HR activities and act as a contact person for employees and managers (HR counseling, recruiting, development, etc.) on a global scale

* Support current HR projects and processes; take ownership of relevant projects or analytics

* Administer HR processes and tools; working closely together with regional and functional HR teams (compensation and benefits, recruiting, and our global HR shared service centers)

* Support and partially drive regular processes for the unit (e.g. Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Management, etc.)

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) manages the Premier services relationship and plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Customer Experience is considered and viewed as a key technology partner in the successful operation of the customers IT environment. The Technical Account Manager is a positive advocate for both the customer and Customer Experience and will be a professional representative at all times in this Operational role.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The MTT Strategy & Innovation team is a small and focused business technology team, that operates in a startup-like atmosphere, where agility and teamwork count. We are constantly looking for new ways to innovate, excite and make an impact for the business.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As part of our team, you will play an integral part in the creation of applications based on SAP’s latest technologies. Developing on the SAP Cloud Platform, you will provide the foundation for high-performing business applications by creating a state-of-the-art backend.
Your tasks will include:

* Build a strong Java backend to run performant and cloud based business applications;

* Collaborate closely with a strong team of developers and domain experts;

* Contribute to the entire application lifecycle from the definition and design to the application go-live;

* Share ideas and knowledge with a small team of experts in a dynamic environment;

* Leverage SAP HANA to achieve an outstanding application performance and scalability;

* Build a best practice backend architecture and reusable microservices;

* Stay up to date on best practices and the latest technology developments.

Preferred start date for the internship is as soon as possible for a duration of 6 months.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

* Student (f/m) at a university or universty of applied sciences in Computer Science or a related technical field

* Computer Skills: Strong object oriented programming skills

* Java EE programming skills

* Good database programming and SQL knowledge


* Language Skills: Proficient in English and German

* Soft Skills: Humor and common sense

* Structured and self-organized working style with a strong attention to detail and quality

* Previous project experience is a plus

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam is a young and dedicated group within SAP. We focus on creating new and innovative software prototypes which pave the way for revolutionary IT solutions, our mission is the development of potentially breakthrough software solutions which optimize existing SAP products. We work in small teams which draw on the diverse professional and cultural backgrounds of the members. We are a growing team and are looking for a student in the area of HR, especially recruiting and operations. As part of the talent acquisition team, you have the opportunity to support us in sourcing, attracting, interviewing and on-boarding new employees at the SAP Innovation Center. A full-time internship for 6 months is preferred. Location for this position is Potsdam. There is a shuttle for SAP employees running from Berlin Westkreuz to the SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam and back every day.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As an Intern for HR projects & operations, your tasks include:
Recruiting:

* Supporting and assisting in the general application process e.g. communication with candidates and organization of interview days

* Developing strategic concepts to reach out to recruitment target group (especially students & young talents)

* Maintaining the SAP career website and job postings on several online job boards

Onboarding:

* Managing and optimization of the entire new hire onboarding process • Organizing and conducting onboarding sessions Supporting the buddy system for new colleagues

Employer Branding:

* Organizing and assisting during events and workshops, e.g. agenda, guest support, marketing material, promotion, and logistics

And:

* Supporting day to day operational tasks and daily office work

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

* Currently enrolled as Student at a university

* Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Communications, or related fields

* Strong interest in Human Resources and / or Recruiting in an innovative technology company

* Hands-on mentality and a reliable team player

* Good presentation, communication, and networking skills

* Creativity and passion for new ideas

* Fluency in English and German (verbal and written)

* First professional experiences (e.g. student job, internship) are beneficial
